On 21 May, the JSCJ, within the project “Equal Rights for All Coalition” funded by the EU Office in Kosovo, presented the research report “Gender Quota in Corporate Boards in Kosovo”.

The European Union Office in Kosovo, the Equal Rights for All Coalition (ERAC) and the House of Europe in the framework of the activities of the Campaign for the Economy #LetsTalkEconomy, organized the event “Women in Business in Kosovo”.


The event was opened by Ambassador Mrs. Natalia Apostolova who stressed that “Kosovo is full of capable, intelligent, hardworking women who show a high degree of professionalism at all levels”. In this event, in the morning session after the introductory remarks of Z. Carlos Abaitua-Zarza, Manager from the European Union Office, Ms. Jeta Bakija, Project Manager at ECMI Kosovo, Ms. Luljeta Demolli, Director of the Kosovar Centre for Gender Studies, presented the report prepared by the KSCJ: Gender Quotas on Corporate Boards in Kosovo. While in the afternoon session there were open discussions between some women who are business leaders in Kosovo and the public, which was organized within the activities of “Gender Talks”.


This event was organized within the framework of the four (4) year project “Coalition for Equal Rights for All (ERAC)” which is funded by the European Union and managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo
