Youth and gender equality in Prizren

On 23 November, Kosovar Centre for Gender Studies (KCSGJ) organized the conference “Youth and Gender Equality in Prizren”. This conference was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project “Young Women Involved in Political Parties and Processes”.

This conference, in addition to discussing the perceptions of young people on politics in Prizren, focusing from a gender perspective, also served as a forum for exchanging ideas and clearly identifying barriers to active engagement of women that will also serve as a tool for raising awareness of young people in Prizren.

Keynote speakers were: Artan Abrashi, Chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Prizren; Vjosa Curri, Executive Director, Dora Dora; Hajrullah Ceku, Human Rights Activist. While the word Introduction and moderation is made by Tringa Kasemi, Activist, Femaktiv.
