Promoting equality and non-discrimination

The project “Advancing equality and non-discrimination” aims to assess the real degree of discrimination against women and the LGBTI community in public and private institutions. Through discrimination testing in specific situations, this project will test discrimination based on gender, gender identity and sexual orientation as well as monitor institutional response to such cases and the implementation of the legal framework that protects these groups from all forms of discrimination. Through community engagement, the project will also contribute to the activation and empowerment of young women and LGBTI persons as agents of change and advancement of gender equality in Kosovo.

This project is implemented in partnership with the Centre for the Development of Social Groups (CSGD) and is funded by the Dutch Embassy in Kosovo.
